Welcome to the Event page for our NC Wahoo Tournament Series Fall Tournament, Harvest of Hoos!

This event will be the first leg qualifier for our Championship tourney that will take place in 2025. 

Day 1: Registration 9/27

Registration will be in person at Chasin Tails Outdoors, located at 709 Atlantic Beach Causeway, Atlantic Beach, NC.

Registration is scheduled from 4:30pm to 7:30pm on

Day 2: Fishing Day/Weigh In/Awards 9/28 - Make-up Day 9/29

Fishing Day will start with lines in at 6:00am

Fishing Day will end with lines out at 3:00pm

This is a rod and (manual) reel only tournament (the use of electric reels is prohibited)

Absolutely NO live bait allowed - dead natural bait and hardware only 

In the event that weather prohibits fishing on Saturday, the make up day will be the following Sunday. This will also mean that weigh in and awards will be postponed to said Sunday.

In the event that both days are under a “Small Craft Advisory”, the fishing day/awards will be postponed to the very next weekend (Oct 5/6)

Weigh in will take place at Chasin Tails Outdoors.

Scales open at 4:30pm and close at 7:30pm on the day of fishing.

Weigh in is preferred via vehicle, not by boat. Matt and Ross don't have a lot of room in the creek behind the shop. The last thing we want is someone's boat being damaged due to lack of navigable waterway.

Awards will take place at Full Moon Oyster Bar Porch Pavilion located at: 505 Atlantic Beach Causeway, Atlantic Beach, NC following the closing of the scales. Awards are tentatively scheduled to begin at 8:00pm.

Food/Beverages will not be provided, however the restaurant will be open to the public and happy to take orders.

Winners: NCWTS reserves the right to conduct investigations regarding any questioning on any winning fish weighed. Winners may be asked to perform a polygraph test, if deemed necessary by tournament committee, before any payments are distributed. 

***NCWTS reserves the right to claim possession of any placeholder fish, including all calcuttas/TWT’s.

Protest: Any winning fish may be protested by any team no later 30 minutes of the last fish weighed. In order to place a protest, a $500 deposit will be required. If the committee finds the team/boat/fish in question to be disqualified for any reason, the $500 deposit will be returned. If the committe upholds the initial results, the $500 deposit becomes property of the tournament committee.
